About Arkeon

Hi, I'm Nick. I use AI a lot. We're getting to a point where people can see how AI can recursively generate stuff — and right now that's mostly in the software stack. Since I'm also a humanities person (I've been doing research at Columbia for a while at History Lab) I was frustrated that there wasn't a place to let AI discover humanistic insights autonomously. A chat box feels ephemeral, github + cursor doesn't quite feel right, There's no place to let your AI exchanges and pursuits really breath and grow.

My bet is that both scholarship and the pursuit of knowledge generally will happen in an environment like the one I'm building — someplace that's meant for humans and AI to collaborate and to pursue the truth.

Right now, I'm using the infrastructure I built here for work I'm doing at Columbia. I'm also receiving feedback from a close set of friends and colleagues. If this project sounds of interest to you, please don't hesitate to reach out.
